YOUR ROLE

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for growing CRCC Asia’s network of partner host companies and supporting them as they host our participants. 

Our Business Development team focuses on three main areas: Lead Generation, Lead Nurturing, and Client Management. The position will work collaboratively with our regional and global teams to strengthen existing partnerships as well as establish new relationships.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Generation

  • Responsible for outreaching suitable Host Companies by using mailshots, social media and events 
  • Establish new Host Company leads through referrals, partnership building with Chambers of Commerce and Business Networks and more

Lead Nurturing and Development

  • Manage existing Host Companies portfolio
  • Develop, conduct, and evaluate campaigns to initiate contact with new Host Companies in Japan and other locations if needed
  • Keep Host organisations up to date with our programs and relevant information
  • Vett Host Companies to check they are in line with H&S protocols and suitable for our internship programs

Client Management

  • Responsible for evaluating participants profiles and effectively ‘matching’ them to a suitable Host Company
  • Engage with participants to establish specific needs, requirements and opportunities available on our programs
  • Assist the Program Management Team with participants welfare if issues arise in the workplace
  • Assisting with Host Company documentation needed for participants’ Visa
  • Ensure data is accurate, complete and updated in our CRM
  • Check in with Host Company during and the internship program regarding interns’ progress, and follow up after the program ends for further feedback.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATION

  • 1-3 years of business development related experience

  • Develop, conduct, and evaluate campaigns to initiate contact with new Host Companies in Japan, Korea, Vietnam and India.
  • Keep Host organisations up to date with our programs and relevant information.
  • Vett Host Companies (with the support of our on the ground teams) to check they are inline with H&S protocols and suitable for our programs.

Client Management

  • Responsible for evaluating participants profiles and effectively ‘matching’ them to a suitable Host Company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Update the current website and develop a new site using WordPress
  • Create, monitor, evaluate and optimize advertising campaigns in Google Ads
  • Improve and monitor SEO backlink and domain authority
  • Generate weekly and monthly marketing reports, ideally utilizing Looker Studio
  • Develop automated email retargeting campaigns for leads
  • Conduct market research to identify target customer personas
  • Preparing campaign results reports and recommending actions
  • Manage and visualize the Marketing pipeline touchpoints

EXPERIENCES / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience with WordPress and familiarity with web design
  • 2-3 years of experience in managing Google Ads campaigns for demonstrated expertise in creating, managing, and optimizing ad campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, including keyword research, quality scores, and other best practices to ensure the best ad placements.

  • Handle video editing using Adobe Premiere, Canva, or other editing tools
  • Create consistent, meaningful content for the blog, job listing platforms and across all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok
  • Develop social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity
  • Preparemonthly reports on social media marketing efforts
  • Serve as the videographer during events at the work location

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

International HR Leadership

Lead and oversee HR operations across multiple regions ( including Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, India, US UK … ), ensuring alignment with global HR strategies.

Talent Acquisition and Management

EXPERIENCES / QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in a regional or international capacity.

In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws across multiple regions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.

Experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and international HR compliance.

Ability to lead and influence change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Management

  • Create and implement a program calendar consisting of orientation week, business, cultural, and volunteer events aimed at enriching participants’ knowledge of Chinese society, culture, and business
  • Provide quality assistance and care to international students on ground (incl. emergency support, culture shock support, and adjusting to life in China)
  • Perform other program management tasks during internship program dates, including (but not limited to) event organisation & management, logistics, and issue-resolution, assisting with the visa procedures
  • Work closely with the Head of Program Management to align the program elements with University Partners’ requirements for bespoke or customised programs
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to maintain the CRM system updated with accurate participant information, placement details, check-in notes, event and incident reports.
  • Liaise with Business Development Team to ensure internship feedback is received and resolved
  • Track program and operational expenses and manage budgets alongside the CRCC Asia Finance team and Head of Program Management

Business Development

  • Contribute to the creation and execution of email campaigns targeting potential Host Companies in the Chinese market, expanding outreach to all market locations as needed.
  • Assist in matching students with suitable Host Companies based on their skills and preferences
  • Update and maintain student and company information within the CRM system
  • Keep Host organisations up to date with CRCC Asia program schedule and relevant information
  • Attend events, seminars and conferences to promote and develop CRCC Asia’s brand in China

JOB SUMMARY

The University Partnerships Associate will be responsible for supporting the growth of CRCC Asia’s network of partner universities and aiding the development of study abroad and internship programs. The position will report directly to the University Partnership Manager while working with our regional and global teams to strengthen existing partnerships and establish new relationships at higher education institutions.

  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business development duties (45%)

  • Lead Nurturing and Development 
  • Support the UPM to establish new university partner leads through direct outreach and networking
  • Develop, conduct, and evaluate campaigns to initiate contact with new institutions across their designated region


  • Conference Attendance and Planning 
  • Assist entire University Partnerships teams in preparing for conferences


  • New Program Development 
  • Conduct campaigns to grow relationships with new departments and contacts laterally across campus

 

Account management duties (45%)

  • Partnership Support 
    • Assist with the maintenance of a portfolio of university programs spanning a variety of program models including standard, custom, faculty-led, and partial services programs.
    • Collaborate with the UPM and university partners to plan the logistics of each year’s program and communicate these details across CRCC Asia departments

 

  • Marketing and Communications
    • Communicate with digital teams and marketing colleagues to create co-branded marketing materials for custom programs

 

  • Student Support and Recruitment
    • Conduct recruitment and/or pre-departure events as required or requested by each partner institution
    • Work with admissions teams to establish correct protocol for pre-departure
    • Work with university partners to foster relationships with participants and alumni of the program, growing the number of global ambassadors at partner universities

 

  • Program Reporting
    • Collect weekly and bi-weekly reports on student progress, and provide incident reports to the partner institution
    • Participate in the maintenance and management of the company CRM database
    • Support the creation of post-program reports and sharing with key team members

 

Admissions Support (5%)

  • Liaise with Admissions team to translate your university partners needs
  • Confirm student applications and follow-up with Admissions
  • Support digital marketing campaigns, webinars, or outreach

 

General Tasks (5%)

  • Support other general tasks as needed and requested

 

EXPERIENCES / QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years experience in business development or account management 
  • Experience of higher education and/or international education
  • Knowledge/experience of institutions across the APAC region is particularly advantageous
  • Passion for travel and education
  • Creative, entrepreneurial, and flexible
  • Organisation and project management skills
  • Able to effectively prioritise requests and projects
  • Prompt and effective communicator via email and telephone
  • Self-motivated and independent, able to take ownership of tasks
  • Able to maintain oversight of projects while conducting semi-frequent to frequent outreach trips to universities and conferences
  • Data management or previous use of a CRM system
  • Experience travelling to, living in, or academic understanding of program locations: China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam
