Ideal Candidates

– Applicants should be pursuing a major in Business Management or, preferably, Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
– A keen interest in logistics, along with a basic understanding of inventory management, is essential.

Typical Responsibilities

Trading Companies & Consumer Goods
Work with trading companies and in sectors like consumer goods, food & beverages, and import/export.

Distribution & Retail Operations
Manage distribution, retail operations, and business development tasks.

Market Research
Conduct research to support decision-making and strategy development.

Logistics Software, Forecasting & Process Analysis
Perform forecasting, process analysis, and improve supply chain processes, utilizing planning and logistics software for efficient operations.

Account Management
Handle account management and contribute to trading activities.

Business Developement
Assist with marketing efforts to promote logistics and supply chain services, supporting business development initiatives to enhance company growth.

Ho Chi Minh City
HCMC is a key player in Southeast Asia’s supply chain landscape, driven by its strong manufacturing and export sectors. Interns will gain practical experience in logistics coordination, from warehousing to distribution in industries such as textiles, electronics, and consumer goods. As Vietnam continues to grow as a global manufacturing hub, students interning in HCMC will be at the forefront of supply chain innovation and trade routes in this rapidly expanding economy.

Shanghai
Shanghai’s strategic position as a major global trading hub and financial center makes it an ideal location for gaining experience in supply chain management. While there may not be direct logistics companies, the city is home to numerous multinational corporations, retail chains, and distribution centers, providing interns with exposure to the operational and strategic aspects of supply chain management. Interns will work with companies involved in import/export, retail distribution, and consumer goods, gaining hands-on experience in logistics coordination, inventory management, and optimizing supply chain processes.
